    how do I have to write the sql-string when I want it to find the memo-fields too. Not just the others.

    Unfortunatedly the MEMO-field can&#039t be indexed therefore you can&#039t run query directly on MEMO-field.<BR>Instead make some searchable field like text or number to become your ID field and ask SQL statement to return your MEMO-field where yourID field = ...<BR>That way you can get your MEMO-field to your ASP page.<BR>There is one more downside so- you can use your Recordset("MEMO")<BR>only once, second time it is empty.<BR>Again assign your Recordset("MEMO") to some variable and use that variable freely further in your script.<BR>
