I am using Table Editor (www.2enetworx.com) to edit my Access 2000 DB online while I'm away from my work computer. This has been very useful but I've run into a problem creating new tables.

When I add indexes, it automatically names the index for me. I don't know if this matters or not but wanted to find out from anyone here.

For example, idcategory is the Primary Key. The Index Column, is idcategory, and the Index Name is PrimaryKey. But if I make a new table in Table Editor, I can make the Index Column idcategory but the Index Name will automatically be pidxcategory. What does the Index Name have to do with anything besides visual identifcation from the user in the database? Will it effect the Primary Key in other tables?
