I have a website made up of most .ASP pages, but I am starting to switch over to .ASPX pages. I have certain restricted areas which require you to be logged in to access. Once I verify your name and password are correct, I read your user level from a SQL table and store it in a session variable (Session("userLevel")). On all of my regular ASP pages, this does not pose a problem. But when I try to access this session variable from my ASP.NET pages, I get nothing. I included the following line on one of my ASP.NET pages as a test:
<%Response.Write("User Level = " & Session("userLevel"))%>

When I did this, the following was written to the page:
User Level =

But when I included the same line in my regular ASP page, the following was displayed:
User Level = 100

What am I doing wrong between the two formats????

Brian.
