I have created an ASP.Net webpage in VB.Net. The webpage connects to the SQL Server database through a shared component (VB.Net DLL) which resides in the bin folder of the website. The component uses a dedicated SQL Server account to connect to the database (the userid/password is hardcoded in the DLL). The component accepts search parameters from webpage and returns a datareader/datasert. If two or more users try to search the database at the same instant, I get "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error on one browser and "Timeout Expired" error on other browsers. The website seems to work fine if the users do not press the search button at the same instant. <BR><BR>Can somebody help, this is driving me nuts?
