Default Calling a dll in ASP

    Hi All,

I am working in an ASP project which demands the usage of the functionalities supported by a third party DLL. I tried to register the dll using the conventional method 'regsvr32 ....', but I'm getting the error " dll was loaded but the dllRegisterServer entry point was not found". I assume that the dll may not be a COM dll to be registered in this way.

Can anybody suggest a way to use the dll in my ASP project?. Is it possible to use a dll directly in the asp/vbscript code without registering the dll?. The progID for instantiating the dll is not available, but the details of serveral functions available.

My Platform:
ASP 3.o
Windows 2000
Thanks in advance.

Jeff David

Default Did you try using that DLL

I would think that despite that error message, you should be able to use the DLL and get its functionality.
