Default Strange problem with ASP / MAC

    After submitting a form, the form info is sent to an asp page that does various things (I won't bore you with all the details). One of the form elements that is sent to the asp page is a hidden field containing a number - this number can be anything between 1 and 8. On my asp page, one of the lines of code is:

s_id = Cint(request.form("s_id"))

This all works absolutely fine until someone using a MAC computer submits the form - they get an error. This form is being submitted without any problems 100s of times a day but the odd MAC user gets the following error:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'
Type mismatch: 'Cint'

It says it gets this error on the line of code I've written above. Does anyone have any idea why this happens for mac users and what can I do to get around this problem.

Thanks in advance

    Not sure why, but then IMO Macs are always trouble.

Try using Clng() instead of Cint()
