I am told to get better search engine rankings I should place relevant web text with keywords as high up the page as I can.<BR><BR>If I have 200 lines of ASP code above the &#060;head&#062; tag first, do the spiders recognise this, or ignore it and go straight for code after the &#060;head&#062; tag? Should I move all my ASP code of the bottom of each .asp page?

While I have no practical experience dealing with such matters, at least theoretically the 200 lines of ASP code should not matter. Unless they are writing to the browser, only your web server should be aware of their existence.
