    Default check dead links

    I write an asp page to validate dead links.<BR><BR>Most asp applications use third party component to validate URLs like Set objHTTP = Server.CreateObject("asp.http")<BR><BR>Is there a way to validate URLs without using the third party server objects (only use the predefined objects)? <BR><BR>because i don&#039;t want to register the dll at the client&#039;s machine <BR><BR><BR>Please Help!!!<BR><BR>

    Not with the default ASP objects, but maybe microsoft&#039;s xmlhttp object is installed on your server?

    Default XMLHTTP object should..

    .. be installed on the server and would do what the poster needs.
