    Default Excel-Access

    I have 2 files,one in excel and other in access.<BR>I want to retrieve a particular column from the access file and display it in the excel file.<BR>How can i do this?<BR>

    focuses on office products! This is an ASP messageboard... I say your best bet is to do some google research on the two pieces of software or read the manuals...!<BR><BR>good luck

    Default if you want to do that using ASP

    you can use ODBC to connect to the two databases(yes you can connect to EXCEL) and then build up recordsets. Select from one and insert into the other.<BR><BR>OR do you want to use some other ways to do that?
