    Default Method=post on Apache

    &nbsp;<BR> I am having a bit of trouble with Method-Post on an apache server running on Linux.<BR><BR> The error I am getting is:<BR><BR> Method Not Allowed<BR>The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /main.asp.<BR><BR><BR>--------------------------------------------------------------------------------<BR><BR>Apache/1.3.23 Server at &#060;servername is inserted here, but not including it as it is the servername at work&#062; Port 80<BR><BR> Any ideas?

    The Apache server needs to add the verb POST to its accepted HTTP verb list (GET and POST are the 2 most common), its unusual that POST is being denied...<BR><BR>check the conf file - is POST listed as an accepted verb?

    Default What is the extension on the page?

    If it is a ".asp" page, then do you have some kind of ASP processor installed on the system? If so, what kind?<BR><BR>If it is an ".html" page, then *of course* you can&#039;t POST data to it.<BR><BR>
