Is there an easy method to count the number of records in a recordset? I've tried oRs.count & oRs.length, but they're no good. <BR><BR>Thanks,<BR>kate
...(link at upper right of this page)...and the category "Databases, Errors" for why you might not get a usable value from RS.RecordCount !!<BR><BR>hint: You have to open the RS the right way.<BR><BR>
you could end up with a -1 as output!
OK, that SEEMS simple, but I'm getting -1 when I know there are records there, cos they're writing out below.<BR><BR>??
check in the FAQ's and see why this happens... it has to do with the recordset constants!
