    &nbsp;<BR> hi,<BR><BR> just curious to know ,if the &#039mailto:&#039 clause,has or can be used to not only open the mail client software&#039s &#039new mail message&#039 window as in the statement <BR>&#060;a href=""&#062;email add&#060;/a&#062; open&#039s up outlooks new message window ,sends mail to the name implied in href , but is it possible for one to specify ,a body to the message.<BR><BR> thanx ,if this is possible what would the syntax be like.<BR> hope someone&#039s able to help.<BR> <BR>-gjm.

    This will be something that you need COM to do....<BR><BR>example:<BR><BR>sub sendMail(ByVal Message as String, ByVal SentTo as String)<BR>dim obj as object : set obj = CreateObject("Outlook.Application")<BR>dim MailObj as Object : set MailObj = obj.CreateItem(0)<BR><BR>MailObj.Recipients.Add(Se ndTo)<BR>MailObj.Body = Message<BR>MailObj.Send<BR><BR>end sub<BR><BR>What this do is to create a message at Outlook client and send it off the mail spooler.
