Default Passing HIDDEN variables

    I need to pass a hidden variable. Let&#039s call it name. For example, the name entered in a form that will need to be passed contains the value "Smith, John Joe". Notice the blank spaces between the comma to John and John to Joe. For some reason, when I pass it as a hidden variable, it passes only "Smith,". Why and what suggestions would you recommend. I can&#039t not break the name in multiple fields. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

    In the second page where you want to pass this name as a variable try this:
<form>
<input type="hidden" name="name" value="<%=request("name")%>">
-----------------
request("name") is the name you are picking up from first form.
Try this, hope it works.
Good Luck.
Always ensure that the values are surrounded by qoutes, for more information see

P
