Default ASP win2k v Nt

    Hi guys,

I have an ASP page on win2k local server which throws up an HTTP 500 - Internal server error , but on the live server (which is an NT machine) it works fine.

When I log on to the local machine (using pcAnywhere), I imeadiately can view the asp page. So could this be a permissions problem?

I don't understand it, because other ASP pages work fine on the local server. Any help appreciated.

thanks in advance

K.S.

You need to turn that 500 error into a meaningful error message, turn off 'friendly http error messages' in browser for more of a clue.

It could be network (DNS resolving etc) or security (less likely).
