Is it possible to upload part of a statement contained in a list box on a form to a database?

For example in my list box I have something like this:
NAME: AGE
I only want to store the name part in my database so can the two parts be separated when the user clicks submit??

Using ASP? Sure - investigate the Split() function. Either that, or investigate InStr(), InStrRev(), Mid() and Len(). They're the harder way of doing it, but it may be more appropriate.

Craig.
