    Default requiredFieldValidator

Hi, the simplest of all validators gives me a hard time but only when used in one specific circumstance : when I use it on a date-textbox filled by a popup-calendar-control (th 4guysFromRolla-style; Javascript). The process of the form (insert in sql db) is stopped when the field hasn't been filled (ok), and is done when the user has corrected the information(ok). The problem is that the errormessage form the validator is still displayed after the correction, while all the other message disappear onBlur; this is very confusing for users.
