    Default ASP.NET error on production servers

    i&#039;m trying to figure out way my web applications will not work on my production server but they work on both of my test servers, I guess it some type of security issue, me and my network admin tried everything. Can any one give me some good hints?<BR><BR>------------------This is the error--------------------<BR><BR>An application error occurred on the server.     The message your seeing and your real error are unrealted. The message you are seeing is one which says you not allowed to see the source code for this error because you are not a local user. If you want to see what the real error is then create a file called web.config and put this text into it.<BR><BR>&#060;configuration&#062;<BR> &#060;system.web&#062;<BR> &#060;customErrors mode="Off" /&#062;<BR> &#060;/system.web&#062;<BR>&#060;/configuration&#062; <BR><BR>This will however expose your code to anybody viewing your web site so you may want to use the alternative to this which is to either have the error emailed to you or to have it write an error into the machines error log.<BR><BR>Hope that helps
