    I see I was foolish enough to not use the sql which performed the request. But when I do change the code to <BR>sql ="select * from tblCouple where cpleID=" & request("CoupleChoice") <BR><BR> set objRS=server.createobject("ADODB.Recordset") <BR> objRS.Open sql,objConn,,adlockOptimistic,adCmdtable <BR> objRS("cpleFemFirstName")= request.Form("FemFirstName") <BR>.... and all other fields <BR>objRS.Update <BR> objRS.close <BR> set objRS = nothing <BR> objConn.Close <BR> set objConn = nothing <BR><BR>However when I run the page it gives me an error which says !!! <BR><BR>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error &#039;80040e14&#039; <BR><BR>[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Syntax error in FROM clause. <BR><BR>/PreMarr/modifyCouple.asp, line 15 <BR>( note line 15 is <BR> objRS.Open sql,objConn,,adlockOptimistic,adCmdtable) <BR>it doesn&#039;t like it, the from clause in the sql statement is in question <BR>So what am I doing wrong now ??? <BR>

    ...when you didn&#039;t learn his mantra?<BR><BR>DEBUG DEBUG DEBUG!<BR><BR>What is sql?<BR><BR>Your error is on line 15.<BR>Try <BR>Response.Write sql<BR>on Line 14<BR>

    Why do you have 2 commas after objConn??<BR><BR>objRS.Open sql,objConn,,adlockOptimistic,adCmdtable
