First I assume your order page to be in form format. In another words,it must have the following tag in your program

The "http://servername/directory/filename.asp is the address of your confirmatory page.

Also it must have a submit button at the bottom of your order page. like this

When this submit button is pressed you can pass the inputs of your order page to the confirmatory page
Eg in your order page you have

you can call for the value of this input field in your confirmatory page using
<%request ("xxx")%>
you must then set up a newmail object in your confirmatory page to send those inputs to your mail box. The mailing code are as follows: <%
Dim objCDOMail
Set objCDOMail = Server.CreateObject("CDONTS.NewMail")
objCDOMail.From = "firstname.lastname@example.org"
objCDOMail.To ="email@example.com"
objCDOMail.Subject ="xxxx"
objCDOMail.Body = "xxxx"

objCDOMail.Send
Set objCDOMail = Nothing
%>
Thanks nick..

I directed the page to confirmation page and put the code at the end but it didn't sent the mail.

However when i place the mailto:XXX.., in the form action part it sends the mail but doesn't show the confirmation part.

Please help me to get the right way to send the answers to a checking the submitted info. page and when the user thinks it is correct and hit the button it send the mail.
Hi...
Did you put the confirmation message and details as the body of new mail object? And remember that the mail sending code should be in the code of cofirmation page and not the order form page.

in another words if you want to put this message " Thanks for using my order form " You must do this
eg Dim objCDOMail
Set objCDOMail = Server.CreateObject("CDONTS.NewMail")
objCDOMail.From = "XXXX"' can be your e-mail add
objCDOMail.To ="xxxxx" ' must be your e-mail add
objCDOMail.Subject ="Confirmation" 'just a title
objCDOMail.Body = "Thanks for using my order form!"
objCDOMail.Send
Set objCDOMail = Nothing
let's say if you want your e-mail message to contain the certain input of order form let's say :
Employee's No : ,
in the code of confirmation page you must request for it...
so.....if you want the e-mail to reflect the input of Employee's No, in the body of new mail object must contain this :
objCDOMail= request("empno")
and the input of employee's no will appear in the mail.
I hope the above explanation make sense to you.
If you still have any problems...maybe you can put your code in the thread and show me.
sorry for the late reply .... my country's time is 10 hr different from the time stated beside my post. So your working hrs will be our sleeping hrs
