Default Dates in SQL Server

I'm having real trouble with this. My scenario is this:

input-mm/dd/yyyy
output-dd/mm/yyyy
SQLstored-dd/mm/yyyy

input is how I have to have the date formatted in a HTML form
output is how the date that is entered is spit out
and SQLstored is how the date/time field looks in the SQL database

I am accessing these web pages from Canada, where are servers are. WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON?????

Since the output is dd/mm/yyyy and I have to input it mm/dd/yyyy, how do I "decipher" the date outputted so that it comes out mm/dd/yyyy

Default ASPFAQs, category Dates and Times

The link to the ASPFAQs is at the top right corner of this page.

Look at the explanation of how dates and times are stored and displayed in DBs and in VBS.

My only question: Why do you use the mm/dd/yyyy input form?
Or did you want *everything* to be mm/dd/yyyy?
