Hi!<BR>How much changes do I need to do in my ASP code if I need change my database from Access to Oracle?<BR>
Depends. Probably not much, going in that direction.
Access uses #mm/dd/yyyy# only. Oracle will accept various things, but all of them are based on '....', no? With 'yyyy-mm-dd' probably being the most universal?<BR><BR>
They both use SQL...so there shouldnt be much if any besides your datasource provider & driver information I believe.
Oracle uses PL/SQL, and Access uses Jet SQL. Huge difference. However, most everything in Jet SQL should convert (fairly easily) to PL/SQL. The other way around, however, would be an entirely different story.
