Ok I will do my best to explain my situation so as to not confuse anyone. ;-)

I have a website that displays images. If you need to see the site for a frame of reference the site is www.gamingscreenshots.com - and just click on any page. Lets say the “half-Life page.

If you notice I have “next” and “prev” buttons. I created those by page counting my record sets.

I’ve decided what I would like to do instead is show small thumbnail of the previous and next record. This is where my trouble come in. I am not sure of the least cumbersome way to go about it?

What I tried to do is do another SQL Select that said select the current image and then subtract 1 from the ID. This didn’t work. The error here is that lets say my current Half-Life image is number 1000, if I subtract 1 from the ID then I get 999. The image with the ID “999” does not belong in the Half-Life section so it should not be displayed.

I thought about creating a MovePrevious statement but then that just messes with my loop all together.

Does anyone have any advice as to what I could do?

I can show code but it is very long so I didnt want to overwhelm anyone.
