Hi, I was just wondering if it is possible to link ASP ages on my local machine to a database in a network share - so that an administrator can update the database. <BR><BR>Any changes get reflected when I run the asp page locally (which I can then upload to a server).<BR><BR>The administrator has no access to a web server and the shared server is not asp-enabled.<BR><BR>So far I have used (with the appropriate connection details): <BR><BR>oConn.Open "Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};" & _<BR> "Dbq=\myServermySharemyPathmyDb.mdb;" & _<BR> "Uid=admin;" & _<BR> "Pwd="<BR><BR>However I get the error message<BR><BR>Error Type:<BR>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)<BR>[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]General error Unable to open registry key &#039;Temporary (volatile) Jet DSN for process 0x73c Thread 0x920 DBC 0x13d0064 Jet&#039;.<BR>/disability/course_materials/aspconn.asp, line 29<BR><BR>Thanks for your help
