Default Access and Dates

I suspect that this is a common question, but I can't find anything on it in the FAQs.

I am based in the UK and have the locale settings for this country i.e. today's date = 06/08/02, and is displayed as such when I response.write it to the browser. However, when I go to insert the date into an Access db it ends up like this: 06/08/02. It is also displayed like this on the page once it has been extracted from the db.

Does anyone know whats causing Access to do this???

Cheers

Micheal

Use the ISO date format when inserting the date!

yyyy-mm-dd

and set

Session.LCID = 2057 in your Global.asa file, or on the first page of your site!

HTH.
D.
