I have a customer complaints application that runs on IIS, and stores the customer and product details in an Oracle DB. When a customer enters the site and logs a complaint, a mail message is sent to the person responsible for handling this. Guess this can be managed with a CDO NTS object. <BR>Now, I want the system to perform a check everyday to see if the assigned persons have altered the status of their respective requests to "in progress" or "closed", if that assignee received the first notification 2 or more days ago. (So this needs to be some automated function.) If not, I want the system to send a reminder mail to the assigned person. How do I achieve this using either IIS/ASP or Oracle, WITHOUT using a scripting agent in Exchange?
