I have read countless pages telling me that I need to have response.expires, or repsonse.expiresabsolute, or pragma commands to prevent pages cacheing but nothing seems to work. I am writing a shopping basket application and problems occur when an item is deleted and then if the back button is pressed, the item reappears. If the quantity is then attempted to be changed, it all falls over as the scripting tries to amend a record that no longed exists. Similarly, if a quantity is changed and then the back button is pressed, the old quantities and prices are re-displayed.

I would really appreciate some help on this. There must be a way of getting the browser to reload the page, even if the back button is used. I am using Win2000 with IIS5.

Many thanks
