Default XML to HTML for Older Browsers

I have been doing a lot of research on XML and I want to use it in my web apps, but as I study XML I see that the clients have to have IE5.5+ or Ns 6+ to take advantage of some of the nice formatting like XSLT and XSL. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to merge the XML file with the CSS or XSLT on the server and generate a HTML file that looks the same as the XML with the CSS so that just html could be sent to clients that had browsers that didn’t support the XML specs? Does .Net do this? Would I have to write a function in my asp to do this for me? <BR><BR>I posted this in the XML area as well but doesnt look like many people go there... so here it is again...
