Real quick...

Dim oObjectContext As ObjectContext
Dim oRs As ADODB.Recordset
Set oObjectContext = GetObjectContext

Is it better to use
Set oRs = oObjectContext.CreateInstance("ADODB.Recordset")

or

Set oRs = New ADODB.Recordset

when my component will used in ASP?

From these discussions I am beginning to think that ObjectContext is really only usefull in MTS, whereas before I believed it was a mechanism for exposing the Server object in ASP or other top level objects in other environments (sort of like an equalizer that made your code work across environments).

-ChaCha
no need to create it with the objectContext.
set oRs = New ADO.Recordset is the best way to go here.
