Default problem with request.servervariables("HTTP_REFERER

I've never had a problem using this before, but we just got a call from a customer on winxp/ie6 and this is not working for him. I assign the value of request.servervariables("HTTP_REFERER") to a variable and response.write the variable to the page. On any other computer, it works fine, but on his, it is blank. Anyone know if there is a bug with servervariables or if it's just unreliable? Thanks.

Default In theory it just contains....

..the value of the HTTP_REFERER HTTP header. Assuming that's set, it should be found in the collection...

So if the variable's blank, either he's hitting the page directly (when there's no referer), or his browser isn't sending that HTTP header. Check the ALL_RAW item and see if anything's set.

Craig.
