I'm new to .net and am still discovering the differences between asp and .net.

When using asp I use include files extensively to reuse common routines on many pages within a website. From what I have read this is also what namespaces can be used for.

However, during the development phase I would rather not constantly be recompiling a .dll. So I was wondering if there is anyway that I can duplicate the functionality of the asp include file concept in .net for use in my codebehind pages. Is there a way that I can group routines together that are associated with different areas of the website and not have to recompile everytime I make a change in them (these routines still need some debugging)??? I really just want to include certain routines in multiple .aspx.vb pages without copying and pasting the routines into each of the pages and then having to update all of those pages whenever I fix another error.

Any help would be appreciated.
