Default Redirection

    Good Afternoon,

I have a combo box with 3 values. When the user clicks the submit button the value of the list box is passed to the WhichButton function.

If the Search Type is 2, then the value of the text box is sent as a search value to Google. Currently the function works but the search page opens as a new page rather than in the parent page. I am redirecting the page using the document.location.href property in IE 6 on a Win2k box.

<script language="JavaScript" type="text/JavaScript">
<!--
function WhichButton(SearchType){
alert("SearchType = " + SearchType)

if (SearchType == "2")
var searchfor = document.frmWhichSearch.namesearch.value
{ alert("Searching Webster Pages for " + document.frmWhichSearch.namesearch.value);
var FullSearchUrl =
"" + searchfor ;
document.location.href = FullSearchUrl;
}
if (SearchType == "3")
{ alert("Searching Abandoned Property Pages for " + document.frmWhichSearch.namesearch.value);
var xreturn = namesearch_check(document.frmWhichSearch)
alert(xreturn)
var SearchExe ="";
document.location.href = SearchExe ;

}
}
//-->
</script>

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Michael
