you can write it in JScript, regular VBScript, whatever. In your case, write a .vbs file that contains your script to access a DB, then send an email (done it before, very easy)<BR><BR>then use Windows Task Scheduler's wizard to point to your script file, and it handles the rest.
i seriously doubt they will let you. In fact, I think I can quote them - "No".<BR><BR>But may be able to do it locally, depending on how nice they are. Tell them what you want to do, and see if they can work with you.
