My question is about attributes and how they are updated in the URL. Ill get right into an example so that its clear what i am talking about.
i have a list of things with a next and previous button..when u click those buttons you obviously either see the next set of objects or the previous. you can also click on one of these objects to get more info on it on that same page.
when you click next or previous the url attribute offset appears .asp?offset=72 when you click the object the offset disapears and instead you see .asp?object=something
this works fine until u do the following
if lets say you click next and you get .asp?offset=72
then you click an object and you get .asp?object=something
now if were to click on the next again, instead of seeying
.asp?offset=XX you see .asp?object=something&offset=XX
why? why isnt the object removed from the attribues, it is not part of the next link so why does it appear there. and is there any way of getting rid of it...
i know this is a bit confusing but i hope it makes some sense of what i am asking.

thank you.
