Default Old style Forms and asp.net

Hi guys, how do you put hidden input types in the new asp.net web forms. Should i just create and old style form and just put one hidden input type in there or is there a way to put an input type in a web form.

You can either do it that way, or you could have:
<asp:Textbox runat="server" ID="hidfield1"></asp:Textbox>

Then set the value in the page_load() sub. The above will basically become a hidden input. I combine both depending on whether I want to keep the field visible to the client or not. If this is going to be for posting to other pages or client-side subs and functions, I suggest doing it the old way.
