Default Textbox visibility

I know that I can set a textbox's style property to visibility:hidden to hide the box. Can I do the same by using code? Does anyone have an example.

Default To find this kind of stuff...

    ...first, bookmark this page:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/?url=/workshop/author/dhtml/reference/dhtml_reference_entry.asp

Click on "HTML ELements" from there.

Click on the type of element you want to see (e.g., in this case, "input type=text").

In the panel with the scroll bar and the several topics, check both "Attributes/Properties" and "Styles", as needed, to find this stuff.

In this case, you'd click "Styles" and then search for "visibility". Click on that.

You get to here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/?url=/workshop/author/dhtml/reference/properties/visibility.asp

Read.

Under "syntax" it shows you the scripting needed for this property.

Hokay?

******************* **

CAUTION: This does *NOT* work in NS browsers! In NS 4, you can *NOT* hide any individual form field. (You can put an entire <FORM> on a <LAYER> and then hide the entire layer, but that's about it.)
