Yeah, a little. What I'm trying to do is this: I like putting my CDONTS code on separate pages so after the form is submitted I have the action going to a page with the CDONTS code. The email will send saying this user needs access to these systems. Then I would like for anything that has been checked to be presented to the recipent. Make sense to you? I appreciate your help man.
name all of the checkboxes the same, hence:<BR><BR><input type="checkbox" name="test"><BR><BR>and then build an array based on the chosen checkboxes, hence:<BR><BR> varTest=request("test")<BR> MyArr = SPLIT(varTest,", ") 'create an array from the string <BR> For i = 0 to UBOUND(MyArr) <BR> response.write MyArr(i)<BR> next<BR>
When a form with checkboxes is submitted, if they aren't checked they won't appear in request.form.<BR><BR>So try:<BR><BR>For each item in request.form<BR> response.write item &":-" &Request.form(item) &"<BR>" '(change to &VBCrLf when formatting the email)<BR>Next<BR><BR>on the page RECIEVING the form
Thanks Craig, that sounds like it will work. I'm going to try it after lunch. I'm pretty good with CDONTS and HTML mail, so I shouldn't have a problem. I need to go back however and change the values to the value of each system instead of yes.
