    Hi guys,<BR><BR>In a database field I have the text: "Some text" & vbCrLf & "Some more text"<BR><BR>When i retrieve it from the database I&#039;d like to put it into a text field with a new line in the place of vbCrLf.<BR><BR>What happens is this: "Some text" & vbCrLf & "Some more text"<BR>and not this: "Some text"<BR> "Some more text"<BR><BR>If anyone can help out it would be greatly appreciated.<BR><BR>Thanx<BR><BR>Jarvis

    ..this is bad database design. You should hold the CONTENT in the database, and the system should then interpret the content to display it properly according to the environment... However.<BR><BR>You could use ASP&#039;s Execute() statement. It&#039;s EXCEPTIONALLY slow, though. It has to reinstantiate the ASP parser/compiler/executor every time it&#039;s called and will slow your system down by a large factor if you use it a lot.<BR><BR>I would re-examine how the information gets into the database. Why is it stored like that?!<BR><BR>Craig.
