How does one trim after the last slash in a string?
For instance, if it says

bob/joe/billy

it'll trim to "billy"

which will give you the starting position of the second "/" then use a mid function like

oldvalue = "bob/joe/billy"
newvalue = mid(oldvalue, instrrev(oldvalue,"/") )
You'll need the VBScript reference on the left.

1. You find the last occurance of the slash character (InStrRev function)
2. You use the Mid function to pull back the substring you want.

Craig.
