I tried looking this up but many articles on the global.asa files are the basic fundimentals of using it.

Also, I'm not in a place I can test this but was wondering if it is possible to add a 'Server.ScriptTimeout' line to the global.asa file? If so, where does it need to be added? If not, how can I do something similar if I do not have control of the server to increase the time limit?

Reason I ask is I have a rather large update function that I would like to place in the global.asa, so that every few hours it can automatically update the xml files that my site runs off of from the access database I use to store all the info.

Thanks for any suggestions.
