Wrox ado 2.6 claims that server side cursors are the preferred cursor for speed. They also say that through testing, move next is faster than getrows. previous posts here claim that getrows is faster, so whats deal? So I pose this question(assuming I need more info than forwardonly, and will be updating rows), as a standard, do I use server side cursors with optimistic locking or do I use client side cursors with static locking and cache the whole tamale? (I'm using sql2000 olenative)
