    Default simple access question

    how do i make something like this in access?<BR><BR>in sql server...<BR><BR>update A<BR>set column1 = (<BR> select count(*)<BR> from B<BR> where A.ID = B.ID<BR> )<BR><BR><BR>when i tried it in access, an error message says:<BR>"must be an updateable query"

    Default Just an Access thingie

    You can&#039;t do a summary operation and an update in the same SQL Query. Split it up (in your ASP Page etc...)
