Is any to restrict user to download file only once
My first question Is there any to restrict user to download file only once
Second question Is there any way to verify that user download file successfuly

Your response/sample code will be appreciate
Yes and I don't think so.

If you are using a DB you can have a column maybe download (Y,N or 0,1) that is check when the user downloads the file. So once the person clicks on the link the download column is checked to Y. So everytime the user goes to this page only show the files that have a N in the download column.

A suggestion would be to have a line
"Please check your downloaded file before exiting this page."
and idea.?.?
It mean i have some zip files for customers
I want every customer can download file only once successfully
For next download he need permission from admin
Besides that i also need some kind of procedure to ensure that customer downloaded file successfully
suppose i am using register table for user
i want to save following info
how many time user download this file
Is download is successfull

I am also some confuse how i can capture info when user click on link
On the page that shows the files have it link to the page below.

Example Link page:

<%
Dim id
id = Request.QueryString("id")

Dim file
file = Request.QueryString("file")

If id = "" Or file = "" Then
Response.Redirect Request.ServerVariables("HTTP_REFFER")
End If

'Add DB Connection here
Dim StrConn, objConnection, SQL
Set objConnection = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
StrConn = [ enter conn info here ]
objConnection.Open StrConn

'Update Info Here
Dim R_update
SQL = "UPDATE Register SET Download = 'Y' WHERE UserID = "& id
Set R_update = objConnection.Execute(SQL)

Response.Red irect "Download.asp?id="& id &"&file="& file
' this will bring them to a page to download only
' the file that they clicked on.
%>

Make more sense???

Unfortunately I need to leave pretty quick.
Ask one more quicky and then I will check back tomorrow.
