Okay, I&#039m building a VB component which will auto-detect the client&#039s JET version when it connects to the database. Currently, the connection function returns an open connection object. Is this a Really Bad Thing [tm] which will consistently eat server resources and have my name cursed across my company or is VB smart enough to shift (and/or kill) the connection when the function completes?<BR><BR>Should&#039ve gotten the Comp Sci degree, yes... but I&#039m a dang fine Underwater Basket Weaver!
