Default sp_column_privileges

I used the stored procedure sp_column_privileges to get all privileges for a given table. I'm not familiar with using stored procedures so I now face the question of how to query the output of a stored procedure. Can I nest the stored procedure in a select statement. I want to find out permissions for a particular user.

Example:

Select * from (sp_column_privileges tablename) where GRANTEE='userlogin'

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

    Hi Mike,

One way of doing that would be to create a temp table thru your stored procedure, execute the stored procedure thru ur code and then query the temp table.

hope this helps,
Mansi
