If you have functions/vars/procs/whatever you want to incorporate using VB, just make a standard module with the functions you want. Add the mod to any project for now or forever that you want to use the code in your BAS (module file type) file.

What are you trying to accomplish?
in your opinion (this is a genuine FMI question)

- creating a class and dealing with the COM overhead

versus

- creating a class file and dealing with the BAS file overhead (which uses some COM anyway)
but you do not have to get into COM

When i said create a class, i did not necessarly mean another dll, you can include the file in your vb app and use it as you would any other batch file

I'm trying to create a dll that includes a files in a folder.
I haven't tried to inlcude anything before so I'm pretty green in this category.

To start what is BAS? :0

I found this: gd 1.8.4 - A graphics library for fast image creation

It allows you to create your png files with vector cordinates and text, which is pretty cool.

Here is the link of your intersested.

http://www.boutell.com/gd/
