That wasn't my last name until someone mispelled my great-great grandfather's name when he enrolled in first grade.<BR><BR>Till that point, the family name was Sharry. So all those other Sherrys can go hang.
He was six years old after all...And by the time anybody figured it out, it was just too late. It was easier to let him keep the new last name then to change it back to the old last name. <BR><BR>Not that it mattered much anyway....It was just the town that they came from.
that happened to my aunt also.....her pet name became her name cause in school when they asked her name she gave that and it actually went down in the records like that...no one bothered changing it<BR><BR>Imagine going through life with a name that means small in english<BR><BR>
