Default Forms & mathematical symbols

    Hi,

I'm developing a form for submitting scientific abstracts.

Title: <input box>
Author: <input box>
....

The title can consist of normal alphanumeric characters & mathematical symbols (like the summation symbol, greek omega character, ....).
Does anyone have an idea how I can (in the same input box) visualize this mixture of characters?

thanks,
Jacques.

Default It's nothing you can control

If the user's computer has a means of entering these symbols, he/she can enter them.

Such as:

èðÙÓ

On my machine that comes out as Theta-Pi-Omega-Sigma.

But what it will look like in your browser--or in any given browser--depends entirely on the settings of the browser.
