Default Request.ServerVariables("HTTP_HOST")

    Hello,
Had a question about Request.ServerVariables("HTTP_HOST"). Is it supposed to return "" all the time or could it return "" sometimes as well. Just been bickering with the network nazi, and to prove him wrong would make my day :p
Thanks for any input

    Default Well...

...if you're running the script under IIS, then you could use Request.ServerVariables("SCRIPT_HOST"), I think. That returns the full subdomain.

Do a quick bit of script:

<%
For Each varItem in Request.ServerVariables
Response.Write varItem & " = " & Request.ServerVariables(varItem) & "
"
Next
%>

See what it throws back.

Craig.
