Just open a recordset and use the sql line to find the record you want

Set Conn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
Conn.Op en "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data _ Source=C:inetpubwwwrootgetronicsrealestate.mdb"
sql = "SELECT * FROM [tbl_users] WHERE [Password] = & vblPassword
Set MyRecordset = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")
MyRecord set.Open sql, conn
If MyRecordset.EOF = False then MyRecordset.MoveFirst

if you have a unique password then this would yeild only one record into your recordset.

    If a recordset is not EOF then it defaults to the first record.
