    How do i set my SQL server database time to yyyy-mm-dd

    Default you can't

    at least, you can&#039;t set the TIME to yyyy-mm-dd<BR><BR>but if you mean, set the DATE to yyyy-mm-dd you should check the set dateformat function (look in Books Online)

    I wouldn&#039;t worry too much about how the date is stored on the db. Your stored procedure can use "styles" to convert the standard date to whatever you want. Like Dutch said, check Books Obline for a full list of styles.<BR><BR>EG<BR>CONVERT(varchar(10),MyDate,10 1) As MyDateFormatted
